My First Infographic made with Ease.ly
For my first infographic I used Easel.ly. Overall, the site was very easily navigable, but did not seem to be the quickest site. For three dollars a month you have unlimited access to all of the services that they offer, including unlimited storage, uploading in high definition, design help, extra icons and pictures, and much more. Easel.ly is an award winning site that people of any profession can easily use. Per their website "Easel.ly is ideal for educators, students, business owners, and executives who need to convey a thought, lesson plan, or concept in an easy-to-follow visual form." This website can easily be used in the classroom by students to create their own infographics. This can be used in place of an essay and can be used as personal projects that students get full creativity over. Overall, this website is easily accessible even if you are not familiar with technology and is great for the classroom. I had learned about Dwight D. Eisenhower in my History of Kansas class earlier in the semester and felt that as a future educator in Kansas, it would be beneficial for students to learn about him. This infographic is just a glimpse at what he accomplished over his career and is a great teaser for jumping into a lesson over Eisenhower. Through Easel.ly I was able to navigate the site with ease while looking at other completed infographics for inspiration in my own. Overall, this website is great for creating infographics and I recommend its use in classrooms in the future.
